Frequently Asked Questions

We do allow people to visit and choose their puppy in person when able. This will depend on if we are able to be home when you would like to visit. It will also depend on the ages of the puppies we currently have and what vaccinations they have had at the time you would like to visit. The safety of our puppies and adult dogs is our first priority.

Yes, you may see the full litter of puppies after they are at least 4 weeks old. We require the puppies to have their first Parvo shot before anyone is allowed to handle the litter. We also require you to spray the bottom of your shoes with our special spray before walking on our grounds.

The standard poodles and golden retrievers will come with AKC limited pet registration. Full AKC registration with breeding rights will be considered for approved homes only for an additional charge.

Our standard-sized puppies are ready for their new homes on or after they turn 8 weeks old. Times may vary for our mini and toy size puppies depending on how well they are eating. We require that our puppies are consistently eating solid food before leaving our home.

We prefer that our puppies go to loving families where they will not be in a crate for extended periods of time. We prefer that you have a fenced-in outdoor area or at least a place where your puppy can safely get his/her energy out each day.

Yes, we give our own vaccinations and deworming medications based on our vet’s recommendations. Your puppy will receive a vet check before going to its new home. You will receive a copy of the full health record and the original vet check.

Our Golden Retriever sire, Ringo, has the full genetic testing for the Golden Retriever panel including Ichthyosis and is “Ich Clear.”

We are taking him to get his hips tested before this summer.

Hip Dysplasia:

We are currently in the process of having our sires genetically tested for hip dysplasia. We hope to have all our sires OFA certified by the end of 2022, then we will start testing on our dams.

The puppies are socialized with adults, children, other dogs, and sometimes cats. They receive love and attention on a daily basis from our family. We live in a rural area and we have horses and cows that the puppies see on a daily basis. They are also familiar with lawnmowers, 4-wheelers, tractors, and side-by-sides.

We don’t require you to spay/neuter your puppy. We do ask that you wait until your puppy is 12 months of age before slaying or neutering to allow their hips to fully develop. We only offer AKC limited pet registration on our Standard Golden Retrievers and Poodles so you will not have full breeding rights unless further arrangements are agreed upon.

Yes, our health guarantee and contract are on our website. You will also receive a signed copy of our guarantee when you get your puppy.

Yes, we are affiliated with the American Kennel Club (AKC).

We have been breeding Golden Retrievers for over 6 years and Doodles for over 5 years.
